Every story I create is special because each one is written with love, imagination, and a little piece of my heart.

But this one is especially close to me.

The Treasure He Buried: What He Couldn't Take is inspired by a true story and by memories that have been treasured by my family for many years.

Growing up, I heard stories that stayed with me long after they were told.  This book became my way of honoring those memories through the eyes of a child.

It has been a long journey bringing this story to life.  There were many revisions, countless illustrations, and more than a few late nights-but every step has been worth it.

I'm excited to share that my proof copy has finally been ordered and should arrive Wednesday!
